Acknowledgement of Country
Kuuwa is proudly bridging the gap between Indigenous businesses and the resource and construction sectors. Kuuwa acknowledges the traditional custodians throughout Western Australia and their continuing connection to the land, waters and community. We pay our respects to all members of the Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders both past and present.
Kuuwa Capability Statement
Proud of our Western Australian heritage, we chose the name “Kuuwa,” which means West. From our humble beginnings, we have dedicated ourselves to building a company based on reliability and excellent customer service.

About Kuuwa
Kuuwa is a proudly Western Australian, majority Indigenous-owned business offering fleet hire solutions across the Pilbara, Goldfields, Kimberley, South West and Perth metro regions.
Our name, Kuuwa, means West, chosen in honour of our heritage and the communities that have shaped us. Since day one, we’ve built our business on reliability, safety and exceptional service, with a deep focus on supporting the people and places where we live and work.
We provide long-term vehicle hire, including mine spec vehicles, custom fleet solutions, and project-based vehicle hire for the mining, civil and infrastructure sectors. Our growing fleet includes light vehicles, trucks, buses and support equipment, and we rely on a strong network of regional suppliers to keep everything moving.
But Kuuwa exists for more than commercial success. We’re here to create lasting impact. We reinvest profits into community initiatives, including education, training, job creation and apprenticeships, particularly for Indigenous Australians and young people in regional WA. From sponsoring local sports clubs to delivering BBQ trailers for community meals, we back grassroots projects that make life better.
As a subsidiary of Buurabalayji Thalanyji Aboriginal Corporation (BTAC), the Registered Native Title Body Corporate for the Thalanyji People, we are proud to contribute to a shared vision of cultural strength, self-determination and opportunity. Together, we are building a future where communities are supported to thrive, and where local people lead the way.
