At Kuuwa, being an Indigenous business is about responsibility, connection and opportunity.

Our identity as an Indigenous business is central to how we operate. It shapes the partnerships we build, the work we choose to do and the way we show up in community. It is not a label we wear but a set of values we live by.

It means being grounded in community

Our work is not only about supplying vehicles and equipment. It is also about contributing to the communities we work in through local jobs, training, procurement and community-led initiatives.

From providing a BBQ trailer to the Newman Women’s Shelter and Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa, to supporting youth programs and regional events in Onslow and Newman, we focus on creating impact beyond the job at hand.

Relationships come first, and for us, real impact is measured by the difference we help make on the ground.

It means opening doors for others

We are part of a growing network of Indigenous businesses creating change across Western Australia. Every time we win work, we look for ways to bring others along, whether that is through Indigenous suppliers, employment pathways or mentoring new businesses.

We know how powerful it is when young people see Indigenous businesses leading in mining, construction and energy. It shows what is possible and creates a path forward.

It means building something that lasts

Kuuwa is built with a long-term view. We invest in systems, grow our team and work hard to build a reputation for quality and reliability.

We also focus on doing things the right way, not just delivering for our clients but supporting our people, our partners and our communities in a meaningful way.

And it means doing business through a cultural lens

We take the time to engage with Traditional Owner groups, listen to community and respect the places we work. We understand that every region is different, and our approach reflects that.

Whether we are launching a project, working on Country or partnering with local organisations, we aim to bring cultural awareness and respect into everything we do.

Being an Indigenous business is not just part of our story. It is central to who we are and how we grow.
